Metal Injection Molding
For larger amounts of complex machine parts we recommend metal injection molding (MIM). A metal powder combined with a binding agent is injected into the form, allowing for large batches of complex parts at tight tolerances.
The parts are usually fit for installation as-is or with only minimal additional machining. As a rule of thumb, MIM is most economical the more complex a component is, or the harder it is to customize it. Additionally, we offer to combine various project steps for optimized efficiency: mechanical machining, surface treatment as well as component assembly.
Free Choice of Geometry and Shape
MIM allows for a complexity of shapes that other modes of mass-production can't provide at comparable quality and tolerance, giving the engineer a maximum of design freedom.
Low Tool Costs
Our Asian partner foundry combines both tool making and component production in one company, allowing for very competitive tool prices.
Low Costs per Item
A high level of automation makes production comparatively affordable. Even mid-sized batches of components offer a good return of investment.
